Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Snapped, operated by Snapped, Inc. ("Snapped," "we," "us"), a Delaware corporation headquartered at 433 Broadway, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10013. By using Snapped, you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

Snapped is a face-recognition photo marketplace. You upload a selfie; we generate a face signature and match it against photos contributed by partner photographers and venues. You may purchase, download, or share photos featuring you.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Snapped. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian agree to these Terms on their behalf.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for safeguarding your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Biometric consent

By scanning your face, you consent to the collection and processing of your biometric identifiers as described in our Biometric Information Notice. You may withdraw consent at any time, which will trigger deletion of your face signature within 24 hours.

6. Purchases

All photo purchases are final. Prices and licenses are set by the contributing photographer or venue. Snapped processes payment and remits the photographer's share. Sales tax may apply.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Snapped to identify, harass, or surveil others; reverse-engineer our matching technology; or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

Photos remain the property of their photographer. Purchase of a photo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use. Commercial use requires a separate license.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

Snapped is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that every photo featuring you will be matched. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapped's aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
